My dear friend,

On this EP, Variations on the Human Spirit: No. 5, I have currently only one track attached to the release. Originally I was going to add more, but the other main track had been delayed due to artistic differences amongst the self for some time (maybe to be revisited later).

But I at least wanted to share with you this one track that feels appropriate for the moment, "Take my hand. With each step, new ground is revealed.".

This track features a long-form piano solo, neoclassical-style, over two field recordings taken of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans that were overlaid on top of each other, and supplemented by various sonic, melodic, and harmonic embellishments.

I hope it will bring something to you.
